Babu Banarasi Das National Institute of Technology and Management has been established at Lucknow in the year 1998 by Babu Banarasi Das Educational Society under the Chairmanship of Hon'ble Dr. Akhilesh Das, Member of Parliament, (Rajya Sabha) in the pious memory of Late Sri Babu Banarasi Das Ji, Ex Chief Minister of U.P.
