The Coimbatore Institute of Management and Technology (CIMAT) was established in 1996, by Kovai Kalaimagal Educational Trust, a well-known Charitable Trust in Coimbatore. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) & Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) and is recognized by UGC under Section 2f & 12b of UGC Act. The programmes are affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. It is an ISO 9001:2000   certified institution. The institute exclusively offers post-graduate programmes in Business Administration (MBA) and in Computer Applications (MCA). 

Compucom Institute of Information Technology & Management, Jaipur,is a well-reputed institution for Professional Studies ( BE/MBA/MCA/M.Sc(IT)) in Rajasthan. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and affiliated to University of Rajasthan, which has been accredited A+ grade by NAAC committee of University Grants Commission. Its sister organization - Compucom Software Limited has the honour of being the only recipient in the entire State of Rajasthan, of the Best Performance Award from the Government of India & Government of Rajasthan for exporting IT / Softwares to USA and other countries. Seven Associations in the State of Tamilnadu have formed a Consortium in the name of “Consortium of Self Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamilnadu”, where majority of the Engineering Colleges are members.
