Bharathiar School of Management and Entrepreneur Development was established in 1984 with a view to promote and support management education in the textile city of Coimbatore. Certified as the "Centre of Excellence" by the UGC, the School believes in excellence, which originates from creativity, enterprise and industry. This philosophy drives our pedagogy and curriculum. The MBA Programme has been structured so as to incorporate the fundamentals and specifics of business management. The student is taken through simulation of the corporate world, through a series of case studies, role plays, computer aided learning, group discussions and business games. These exercises build camaraderie among the students which is very essential in relationship management.

The institute has earned over the years an enviable reputation for excellence; thanks to instruction by the highly qualified academics of distinction, staffing the various faculties. The uniquely designed special programmes offered by the Institute have already placed it on par with some of its counterparts, both at home and aboard.

BRIM has an active placement assistance to the graduating students. We have been fortunate that all the graduates have found good placement in the industry and the feedback is very encouraging. The main objective of instituting the University was to ensure a high quality of students coming out of the technical colleges through a common curriculum and uniform evaluation. Today, the University has 110 colleges, both constituent and affiliated, with around 58,000 students. The disciplines include engineering and architecture, business management and hotel management, computer studies and pharmacy. Several of these offer both undergraduate and post graduate studies.

The Institute started the Extension Centre in Noida 1998 with the BCA course. The courses being offered currently are MCA, MBA, BCA, BBA and B.Sc. in Animation & Multimedia. The Centre now also registers scholars for PhD. programmes in Management & Computer Science.

Bharti Vidyapeeth's Institute of Management Studies and Research was founded in 1984 under the leadership of Dr. Patangrao Kadam. The BVIMSR now offers the following courses since its inception : Master of Management Studies (MMS) Founded in 1984, two-year, full-time course under the direction of the University of Mumbai. Executive Masters in Business Administration (Executive MBA) Founded in 2004, three-year, part-time course, catering to the needs of working professionals.

Our Two-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) program (equivalent to MBA) offered by CMD has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) – an autonomous accrediting body of Ministry of Human Resource Development of Government of India. The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) have accorded their approval to our PGDBM programme as equivalent to MBA.

CSREM is offering a Two Year Full Time Residential PGDBM/MBA since August 2006. The program is approved by AICTE.
